The Hospital Nordwest in Frankfurt am Main is a modern multidisciplinary hospital, as well as an academic hospital of the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. The Clinic covers ten specialized disciplines and four institutes. It offers its medical care and nursing at the highest professional level. With about 1,000 employees and 582 beds, the Clinic annually treats approximately 22,000 inpatients and about 30,000 outpatients.
The Hospital Nordwest has a unique expertise in the treatment and care of cancer patients and provides outstanding conditions of the university level for their treatment. The treatment of cancer patients, which is partially provided within the special centers, involves the participation of many departments and sections, including Radiation Oncology, General, Visceral and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Urology, Gynecology and General Medicine. The Palliative Care Center, founded in 2007, has 10 beds for critically ill patients, who receive a comprehensive medical care, nursing and psycho-oncological support here. The Cancer Research Center allows patients to participate in large national and international researches and thus gives an access to the latest opportunities of cancer therapy.
The outstanding quality of treatment at the Hospital Nordwest is proved by numerous internationally recognized certificates. The Department of Urology is certified by the German Cancer Society as the Prostate Cancer Center. The Department of Vascular and Thoracic Surgery is the internationally recognized Vascular Center, while the Department of Neurology – the recognized Multiple Sclerosis Center (certified by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Germany).
All the Departments of the Hospital Nordwest offer the entire range of services in their specializations. They also have excellent state-of-the-art technical equipment and a highly motivated staff. The treatment is focused on patients with their individual needs and wishes.

Patients rooms
The Nordwest Hospital rooms are regularly renovated and have all modern facilities so that the patients can feel safe and comfortable. Each room has a shower and toilet that can be used by the patient at any time. The Internet connection can be set up upon request.
The hospital offers single and double rooms. If you choose a single room, an accompanying person will be able to stay with you. A double room is shared with a patient of the same gender.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.
Meals and Menus
The patient and the accompanying persona are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
