The Department of General, Visceral, Vascular, Thoracic Surgery and Bowel Cancer covers all types of surgery, incl. surgical procedures on the abdomen, endocrine glands, vessels and thoracic surgery. There are performed about 2,200 operations a year. The department is especially focused on the treatment of bowel cancer.
Department of Ophthalmology
The Department of Ophthalmology has been working since 1994. The range of medical services of the department includes surgical treatment of glaucoma, strabismus, cornea, refractive surgery, corneal transplantation and others. Also, there are performed cosmetic surgical interventions and operations on the lacrimal passages.
